Jeff Edlund is CTO for Communications Technology Group (CTG), Hewlett Packard Enterprise. CTG provides an innovative portfolio of Communications industry-specific hardware & software products, solutions, and professional services for Communications Service Providers (CSPs). The CTG industry portfolio is differentiated and strengthened by HPE’s ability to combine the full power of our broad IT solutions to solving problems for the CSP as Digitization accelerates with cloudification, 5G and beyond.

HPE CTG’s industry-leading solution portfolio for CSP’s focus’ on 2 core strengths: Network solutions in the control plane for the service provider and a full Assurance and Fulfillment stack with closed loop orchestration for OSS / BSS. Jeff provides thought leadership focused on Innovation and the Innovation process, HPE Labs’ research and its application to solving customer problems. He additionally participates in HPE’s Communications strategy and industry-specific Mergers and Acquisitions activities.

Jeff serves on the Board of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) and coordinates HPE’s participation in Communications Industry Standards. Jeff was recognized as a fellow with the Society for New Communications Research (SNCR) and is currently focusing his efforts on Network Automation, RAN Automation, 5G Public / Private and developing emerging technologies. Jeff holds a certificate of Engineering from Control Data Institute and a BSc degree in Computer Science from Hartford University.
