Brief Description of Research Areas
The IEEE 5G/6G Innovation Testbed aims to support both industry and academia with network testing and development. We started with a baseline architecture that is fully cloud-based, with open-source components integrated together in a cluster of virtual machines to create a living end-to-end 5G network emulator that can enable interoperability, conformance, security, and other testing. We have also added physical access points and have connected our digital hub to the hardware at major research facilities. The flexible and customizable nature of the infrastructure makes it an excellent platform for research, development, and collaboration.

Each user of the IEEE Testbed decides whether or not to publicly publish their data/results.
We encourage users to publish their data in IEEE DataPort and publish results in IEEE Xplore.
