
IWPC F2F Workshop: The Road to 6G and 3GPP 6G Kick-Off Review

Join the International Wireless Industry Consortium (IWPC) for its face-to-face workshop, “The Road to 6G and 3GPP 6G Kick-Off Review,” from October 7-9, 2025, in Morgan Hill, CA. ATIS Next G Alliance (NGA) Steering Group Co-Chair Havish Koorapaty (Ericsson) will deliver a talk titled “NGA Update and Vertical Industries”, which will cover the recent and upcoming work of the NGA and, in particular, its focus on industry verticals for 6G applications.
The workshop itself will cover feedback on 6G from the 3GPP June Plenary, as well as decisions on the 6G Study scope in R20. It will consider some of the envisioned use cases for integrated sensing from basestations, evolutionary and revolutionary movements, including cloudification, sustainability, combined communication and sensing, sub-THz IoT sensing, and more.
