Yong Hoon Kang

Yong Hoon Kang currently serves as Chief Technology Officer, SOLiD Americas. Dr. Kang is in charge of SOLiD’s product and technology strategy and roadmap. Before SOLiD, he was President and CEO of Pen Generations, a SOLiD company. He also worked for SOLiD from 2000 through 2009 as R&D Team Manager of System Business Division and Marketing Director of the Global Business Division. Before then, he worked at Samsung Electronics as Manager of Network Business Division and Telecommunications R&D Center and was a visiting scholar to Korea Telecom. Dr. Kang holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.
