Emil Olbrich

Emil is founder of PrimeLime, which delivers industry leading consulting and hands-on research for industries interested in mobile communications.  He also serves as VP of Networks as an industry analyst at Signals Research Group and is an instructor at 6G-Academy.com where he teaches engineering courses on 6G technology.

Emil Olbrich has over 30 years of experience driving innovation in standards development, R&D, and large-scale network deployments.  His deep technical expertise is rooted in hands-on leadership roles at pioneering organizations, including Motorola, Qualcomm, Ericsson, and the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he led the deployment of the world’s first and most diverse Public Safety LTE test lab at NIST. This landmark initiative united 70+ vendors and carriers to advance mission-critical communications.

Mr. Olbrich is also responsible for the specifying, deploying and maintaining the entire ecosystem of 4G LTE and 5G NR which included devices, air interface, transport, radio access network, evolved packet core, IP networking, IMS core and application servers for private network verticals in the utility and aviation industry.
